NHS70 women leaders award

By Julie Griffiths on 11 April 2018 NHS Leadership

The London Leadership Academy (LLA) is calling for nominations for 70 inspirational women leaders.

The recognition award for women leaders in healthcare is in celebration of the NHS turning 70 and 100 years of women’s suffrage.

Nominations are open and can be made by completing a form that details how the nominee has met each of the criteria including inspiration, courage, influence, resilience, drive and compassion.

As the LLA works across health and care in the capital, nominees are restricted to the London geography, however, leaders working on any NHS-funded health and care services, including patients and lay partners, are welcome.

Nominees will be notified and sent the nomination, which they must accept before being considered for shortlisting. Self-nominations aren’t accepted.

Winners will be announced on the LLA website and social media on 5 July with a celebration event expected to take place later in the year.

The deadline for entries is 10 June.
