Pan London regional training day (July)

The Royal College of Midwives will be collaborating with Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) to deliver a tailored workshop for activists. SRtRC is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity and have worked with many organisations across England, Scotland and Wales, Show Racism the Red Card.

The workshop will focus specifically on the Race Matters initiative and the work the RCM do directly with members.

The objectives of the day are:

  • raising awareness of racism in the workplace
  • educational anti-racist opportunities to address the everyday lived experiences
  • the importance of understanding members from global majority backgrounds and their needs

This is part of your workplace representative training and is covered under time off for trade union activities.
