Open to those on a midwifery qualification course recognised by the NMC, at the reduced rate from the start of the student membership to three months after the expected date of completion of training. Please note that after this period you will be automatically transferred onto the newly qualified rate.

RCM i-learn has a range of online learning modules designed to support members’ continuous professional development (CPD). i-learn is easy to use and provides around-the-clock access to online learning. You can enrol on as many modules as you wish and work through them when and where you like.

There are over 120 RCM i-learn modules with more being developed and under constant review all the time: from 10-minute tasters that can be taken in your coffee break to packages of courses. 

For first year students we have produced a Student Survival Guide with everything you'll need to start your midwifery degree.

When you become an RCM student member you can get 20% off your MIDIRS subscription. A MIDIRS subscription is a comprehensive package that supports you with information resources to complete your midwifery course. You can access over 290,000 maternity care research abstracts with the world’s largest midwifery specific database Maternity and Infant Care (MIC).

You will also receive a copy of the internationally acclaimed MIDIRS Midwifery Digest journal every quarter. When you register to become an RCM member, simply tick the box in your membership application that you would like to access MIDIRS information resources.
