Following on from the roaring success of our first event, join us for an exclusive evening session tailored to our student midwife members.
Programme
18.00 – Joining, Welcome and Introduction
18.15 – Zeenath Uddin, Head of Quality and Safety at the RCM will take us through the Race Matters work that the RCM is doing. It’s focus, how this is influencing national work and how you can get involved.
19.00 – Alice Allen and Helen Kaye newly elected students to the SMF (Student Midwife Forum) will introduce themselves and what they are hoping to achieve for students in Scotland.
19.20 – Emma Currer, RCM Scotland National Officer currently on secondment to NES. Emma is working on a Trauma Informed Care project and will fill us in on that work, the shape that it is taking and how it may influence future practice.
