Together again: midwives in solidarity
The theme for IDM 2023 set by the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) is ‘Together again: from evidence to reality’. This acknowledges the 33rd ICM Triennial Congress, where the global midwife community will come together for the first time in more than five years, it will also honour the efforts of midwives and their associations to action critical evidence like the State of the World’s Midwifery (SoWMy) 2021 towards meaningful change for their profession and the women and families they care for. The webinar included discussions on decolonising the midwifery curriculum, international work and the RCM's twinning projects.
