Volunteer for Bangladesh Twinning Project

The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) is offering an opportunity for a RCM MEMBER  to support the pilot phase on a VOLUNTARY BASIS of a new twinning project between the RCM and the Bangladesh Midwifery Society (BMS) – Bangladesh Twinning Project.

The successful candidate will work alongside BMS in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and support them to implement the latter end of their first year of the organisational capacity development project.

The partnership between the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) and the Bangladesh Midwifery Society (BMS) aims to strengthen the BMS to advocate for the midwifery profession and create demand for midwifery services. This project is part of wider programme of midwifery strengthening activities, managed by UNFPA Bangladesh and funded by DFID.

All expenses related to travel, vaccinations, accommodation, and travel insurance covered and will be provided with a monthly stipend, both in-country, and in the UK. Occasional visits will be conducted by RCM staff.

The assignment will start in January/February, however these dates are flexible within reason.

If you are interested in this voluntary once off opportunity, please check out the description below, and register your interest to global@rcm.org.uk
