Join the RCM on 12th May 2018 for TUC rally

By Alice Sorby on 25 April 2018 TUC

On the 12th May the RCM will be marching alongside other Trade Unions at the TUC’s ‘A new deal for working people’ march and rally in London.

This is a great opportunity to meet RCM members and colleagues from other unions. You could come along with your RCM branch, friends and family. There are posters and leaflets to download promoting the march here.

We will be joining the campaign for a growing economy, a £10ph minimum wage and the right to a voice at work. For public services that are brilliant, funded and free at the point of use. And for a society that roots out racism, sexism and discrimination.

You can check the TUC website for information about travel on the day, you could even join other local union members by checking if local branches have booked coaches:

We will be assembling from 11.00am at Victoria Embankment between Hungerford Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge; the RCM will be joining other health unions at zone 8 on the attached map. The march will end at Hyde Park for a rally with various speakers including Gill Walton and Jeremy Corbyn.
