The Health Foundation has published a new online resource – Health and social care funding explained – to illustrate how funding trends in the UK have changed.
The UK currently spends over £140bn a year on public provision of health and over £20bn on social care.
The online resource looks at how it breaks down and how spending has changed over different parliaments.
It also explores how the UK’s spending on health compares to other European countries.
And it looks at how health and social care spending differs between the four UK nations.
