Webinar: How we increased activity in our Midwifery Units

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have around 23% of their births taking place in their alongside (Preston Birth Centre) and freestanding (Chorley Birth Centre) midwifery units. These birth centres have been in place for over 4 years offering up to 4 rooms with birthing pools (more information at https://www.lancsteachinghospitals.nhs.uk/birth-centres).

Emma Ashton, Consultant Midwife and Joanne Goss, the Matron for Midwifery-led care will be presenting the steps they have taken and their experience on increasing activity in their midwifery units. They will also be joined by Felipe Castro Cardona, Consultant Midwife and MUNet representative for a question and answer session.
