MamaTENS has launched a new product in its maternity range – ‘MamaTENS my time’. It monitors contraction times and length of time in labour and has extra high levels of pain relief.
As relief from pain is required, it increases the intensity of the waves in small increments. Its preset programme enables mothers in labour to stay mobile during birth and it also has an ‘intelligent power ramp’ – when the button is pushed down, the strength continues to increase beyond normal settings to the ‘brief intense TENS’ stage to help counter extreme pain.
There is a strong backlit display and a one-touch memory programme, so it will automatically remember the last programme that was being used and return to 50% of the intensity set.
