The RCM annual debate will be held on the 26 October from 5pm to 9pm at the National Liberal Club, London, featuring guest chair, the BBC’s Jane Hughes.
The motion for debate will be: given that the interests of the mother and baby are more important than clinicians’ preferences, midwives should now call it a day and abandon the medieval practice of physiological management of the third stage of labour?
