A British midwife working in the war-mired Democratic Republic of Congo is the subject of a new exhibition. It is based around the life of Samantha Perkins, 29, who returned this year from nine months delivering babies in the Masisi hospital in the Congo. Sam and her team delivered 3451 babies there last year - a greater number than even the Royal Free Hospital in London. The exhibition is being put on by Médecins Sans Frontières and will feature a groundbreaking 3D film. It will be at Spitalfields market in London, on 22-27 September.
