The Innovating for Life Awards are open to entries from midwives, as well as other healthcare professionals and neonatal teams.
Their aim is to support innovation and creativity in practice to improve the care of infants.
The closing date for entires was due to be 31 December, but has now been extended until 31 January.
With two categories of entry – midwifery and neonatal care – multidisciplinary teams and individuals can enter either category with the opportunity to receive a grant of £10,000 to develop their initiative or expand an existing innovation within their hospital.
