An earthquake in Indonesia has destroyed a midwife academy this week.
The quake is reported to have lasted 30 seconds and struck the area of Singkil Baru in Aceh.
It had a magnitude of 6.7 and destroyed the Subulussalam Midwives Academy building.
It also damaged 20 houses, 11 school buildings, five mosques and two community health centres.
Panic was widespread, many were injured and ten deaths have been recorded after the quake, which struck at about 1am on Tuesday (6 September).
Initial reports suggested there was just one death, but social Social Minister Salim Segaf Al Jufrie has now confirmed the death toll has reached double figures.
The quake caused a blackout, but electricity has now been restored.
According to North Sumatra Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, the epicentre of the quake was 59 kilometres northeast of Singkil Baru, Aceh, at a depth of 78 kilometres below sea level.
