A range of talks is taking place at the RCM’s annual conference, which is being held later this month.

The RCM’s alliance partners are hosting breakfast briefings, which cover topics ranging from baby skincare to infant mental health.

Johnson’s baby is putting on a briefing called 'Healthy baby skin starts with scientific evidence – a conversation with the experts'.

Mothercare is holding 'Relationships, risks and repair: early intervention with vulnerable babies and their families'.

And Pampers is having a breakfast briefing called 'Are chandeliers old rope? Empowering birth positions for labour!'

Cathy Warwick, RCM chief executive, said: ‘All the midwives who’ve come to our conferences in the past say loud and clear that the thing they get from coming to the conference is a sense of revitalisation.

‘They go away motivated and interested, they’ve talked to other midwives and they’ve had a fantastic opportunity to network.’

The conference will be held in Brighton on November 15-16 and the talks take place on the second day.

There will also be a range of stands, including Johnson’s baby, Pampers and Vitabiotics.
