The presents have been unwrapped, the turkey’s now looking a little worse for wear and we’ve all eaten and drunk a little more than we should have done – well for those of us lucky enough not to be working or on-call. I really hope that you manage to find some time over the festive period for some rest and relaxation. I thought I would take a moment to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. I would like to thank all those who have contributed to Midwives and the website, the correspondence I have received, the support and advice – it has been very much appreciated. I look forward to working with you again in 2010, and if you haven’t thought of contributing to the publication, then please do. If you have something you would like to share with colleagues, then give me a shout. I look forward to hearing from you. Happy New Year!
