On-Call

Discussions between the RCM and NHS employers regarding new On-Call arrangements have now been completed. Local staff sides should now be entering into negotiations with employers with a view to bringing about a new on call system that complies with the principles of equal pay for work of equal value.

To assist these negotiations the RCM has produced the guide below which may inform and assist local staff sides in developing their own on-call systems.
