An Opportunity to make your voice heard

“The RCM and RCOG  published  Clinical Learning Environment and Recruitment (2008), in response to concerns expressed by midwifery and medical students. It identified a set of 8 recommendations. A working group has been established under the chairmanship of Baroness Finlay to progress some of these recommendations.

The working group member representatives have agreed to undertake a national audit of midwifery and medical students' clinical experiences in maternity units to progress the recommendations. We would therefore be most grateful if student midwives can complete the web-based questionnaire. Although we have asked for the names of  the universities and mentors, these will remain anonymous. In the future we hope to reward a team that is exceptional and provides optimum support to all learners.

So far over 1000 medical students have completed the questionnaire.
