Continuing professional development

This programme includes the opportunity to attend study days, courses, interactive clinical workshops and lectures.

These educational activities are facilitated by expert midwives, with contributions from experts in midwifery and other fields such as law and obstetrics. They are designed to meet midwives’ professional PREP requirements and to enhance their skills and practice, supporting the philosophy of maintaining and improving standards of care for mothers and babies.

All midwives are familiar with the fact that they have to maintain and improve their knowledge and competence. Our events cater for all midwives continuing professional development needs based on contemporary issues that matter to midwives and mothers.
