Seasonal Flu Programme Winter 2012/2013

 

The Chief Medical Officer, Director of Nursing and Chief Pharmaceutical Officer have written to GPs and other health professionals emphasising the need to increase flu vaccination rates particularly among:

 

  • those under 65 years of age who are at risk of the effects of flu because of other conditions
  • pregnant women
  • health and social care workers who have direct contact with patients

 

The Seasonal flu plan – Winter 2012/13, provides all health professionals involved in next winter’s flu programme with all the information they need to run an effective flu immunisation programme.
