Salary: £19,805 - £25,710 (+ £4,320 London Weighting where applicable) pro rata
The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) is seeking to appoint an Organiser who will work with Regional Officers in the recruitment of RCM members and workplace representatives and organise and support member engagement activities. The successful candidate will be familiar with membership organisations and their needs and have well developed verbal and written communication skills.
The post offers an attractive salary, 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata) and 3 days at Christmas, a season ticket loan, an attractive pension scheme, cycle to work scheme and an Employee Assistance Program.

The Royal College of Midwives is seeking two exceptional individuals to join our team of Regional Officers, to service the needs of RCM representatives and members in the North and South of England respectively.
To be considered for this varied and challenging role, you will need an in-depth understanding, and practical experience of, matters relating to midwives’ professional and employment activities, gained as an RCM steward or from a managerial role, and professional midwifery experience.
You should also be able to grasp the essentials of employment relations quickly. To build on your broad knowledge of midwifery issues, we will provide development and vocational training on an on-going basis.
These are part time posts, which will require a flexible approach with regard to travel and working hours. They are field-based and will require the use of a car, for which expenses will be reimbursed.
