NEW: RCM Wales is looking for a PART TIME ASSISTANT OFFICER - More details here
The Welsh office was established in 1973, although the appointment of a professional officer and the establishment of office premises in Swansea did not take place until 1985. Since that time the Welsh team has moved to Cardiff and now employs three members of staff.
The role of the RCM’s Welsh office is to provide the Council and General Secretary with a country perspective on matters relating to policy, legislation, parliament and the Welsh National Assembly. It also acts to disseminate information, develop relations with relevant bodies and organisations and extend the influence of the RCM within Wales.
