The Welsh office provides professional advice and support to members working in Wales. The office was first established in 1973, although the appointment of a professional officer and the establishment of office premises in Swansea did not take place until 1985. Since then, the Welsh team has moved to Cardiff and now employs four members of staff.
The role of the RCM’s Welsh office is to provide the RCM Council and CEO with a country perspective on matters relating to policy, legislation and Welsh Government. It also acts to disseminate information, develop relations with relevant bodies and organisations and extend the influence of the RCM across Wales.
The new office and conference room is located close to the centre of Cardiff on the corner of Newport Road and City Road and just five minutes walk from the nearest railway station, Cardiff Queen Street.
