The RCM comments on NICE consultation on updated caesearen section guideline
Commenting on the NICE consultation on updated caesarean section guidelines, Jane Munro, the Royal College of Midwives’ quality and audit development adviser, said: “The RCM welcomes the consultation on the draft of this updated guideline and is looking forward to discussing it with our members. We are particularly pleased to see the focus on an appropriate discussion of the risks and benefits of caesarean section and the importance of the psychological needs of women and their possible fears about birth”.
